Jay Bolding, Owner

Jay was born in Kansas, graduated from Kansas State University in 1981 with an accounting degree and spent the next 13 years in public accounting with KPMG. He spent the next 13 years in private business holding various corporate accounting/finance positions which included his family’s move to Omaha in 1997. In 2009 Jay opened BOLD Office Solutions (BOLD), a Kimball Select Dealership. Jay has overseen the evolution of BOLD from a provider of office furniture to an award-winning provider of outstanding commercial furniture products and service as recognized by winning the B2B award as one Omaha’s best dealerships from 2015 thru 2020 (and hopefully beyond).

Hunter Bolding, Director of Sales and Service (Furniture Specialist)

Hunter is a graduate of University of Nebraska (UNO) and current member of the Young Alumni Association. He joined the BOLD sales team in 2010. Over the decade he has become the furniture specialist due to his extensive knowledge about commercial office products. Hunter enjoys assisting his clients through the furniture selection process giving them a full experience and finds it rewarding seeing projects come to life. Hunter and his wife have two children and a goldendoodle. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, working on projects around the house, camping, fishing, golfing, and traveling.

Sarah Rausch, Designer

Sarah just recently graduated with a double major, an associate degree in Interior Design from Metro Community College and a Business Administration degree from UNO. Sarah is experienced with AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop and has a keen eye for product detail and functionality. She also has a passion for keeping up to date with the latest styles and trends. Sarah is a recent Associate member of the Great Plains Chapter of IIDA. When she’s not working she loves to travel, cook and spend time with family and friends.

Danielle Durham, Designer

Danielle has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and an Associates in Building Construction Technology from Southeast Community College – Milford. She is an associate member of IIDA. Danielle is proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, as well as Rhino and Revit; bringing to BOLD two years of commercial design experience. Danielle has a creative eye for design and is passionate about designing spaces that are a reflection of the client’s needs, but also provide functional and aesthetic solutions. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities as well as using her creativity for hands-on projects such as modeling, drawing and building furniture!

Chris Hornbaker, Director of Operations

Chris has over 15 years of installation and project management experience and has been with BOLD since its inception. He has responsibility for the proper scheduling of all installations and to work alongside the BOLD team to ensure all customers receive a quality installation.

Deanna James, Accounting and Office Manager

Deanna joined BOLD in 2020. She brings to BOLD a background in all aspects of managing the back-office operations and accounting.  She also brings an enthusiasm for client care and overall account management in addition to professional accounting services. Deanna has one child and her entire family is actively involved in all things Habitat for Humanity.
